South Korea has reshaped its chemical hazard communication framework.

The 2024 K-REACH amendments (effective 7 August 2025) redefined the toxic-substance categories and introduced the concept of „substances with unconfirmed hazards”.

Additionally, MoEL Notice No. 2025-50 revised the Standards for Classification, Labelling and Safety Data Sheets. After 1 July 2026, every SDS placed on the Korean market must now follow the new format.

This webinar gives chemical companies who supply the Korean market a clear, practical picture of what compliance looks like today. We will walk through how K-REACH, the Chemicals Control Act (CCA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (K-OSHA) fit together, what a compliant Korean SDS and GHS label must contain.

You will learn:

  • K-REACH, CCA and K-OSHA: the most recent updates and what they mean for your compliance roadmap
  • GHS labelling and SDS essentials for the Korean market
  • The specific obligations of manufacturers, importers and distributors
  • Final Q&A session

Recommended for:

Employers and EHS managers who need to communicate chemical hazards, regulatory affairs and R&D professionals involved in SDS preparation, and anyone responsible for chemical safety compliance at company level.
