Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted as gases from certain liquids that are used and produced in the manufacture of paints, pharmaceuticals and refrigerants. VOCs are common ground-water contaminants and include a variety of chemicals, some of which may have short- and long-term adverse health effects.

Different regulations were issued in order to prevent or reduce air pollution resulting from the contribution of VOCs to the formation of tropospheric ozone.
During this webinar, the regulations limiting VOCs will be discussed and compared in different Countries and regions. In particular, the following regions will be discussed: Europe, Switzerland, USA, Canada and China.
